Grape harvest in Blenheim 🍇

We have been working on a vineyard for a few weeks now. First, we worked for a contractor, but we have been with the Fromm Winery for 3 weeks now. As the name suggests, it has German roots. The last 2 weeks we have been picking grapes, then we had 3 days of rain and since we always worked extra long before the rain to get all the grapes in, we currently have nothing ready to pick, so we roll up the nets again that protect the grapes. This is quite strenuous, but it is definitely an easy job. Generally, the working atmosphere there is very good and we are really sad that we only have a few more days of work there. We were also allowed to taste the wine and especially the white wine is simply divine.

Outside of work, we haven't done much in the past few weeks. I was pretty sick for a few days and was bedridden (car), but now it's fine. On the rainy days, we went to the cinema and watched Beauty and the Beast, and today we have a wine tour planned, as most of our group of friends will be leaving Blenheim tomorrow...
