3-5/11 - Guanajuato Student City

After such a great trip with a good friend, the desire to continue traveling alone was initially limited. But since I was already so far inland in Mexico, I didn't want to miss the chance to spend a weekend in Guanajuato.

Definitely the right decision! The flair of the colorful city with its many narrow streets fascinated me right from the start.

In addition, I once again landed an absolute stroke of luck with the Casa de Dante hostel. Not only because of the delicious breakfast and the great roof terrace, but also because I met really nice travelers from Mexico City and Brazil, so that traveling alone was quickly taken care of.

Together, we explored the great views around Guanajuato, art, history, and culture...

...and in the evenings - as befits Guanajuato - we joined a student band for the 'Callejoneada', singing and playing our way through the streets and listening to (semi)true legends about the city.
