27.07.16 | Day 4 | First day of class

Impressions from the first day of class:

1. Lectures here last 5 hours with maybe a short break.

2. We start at 7 am.

3. Everyone can come and go as they please, but there is an attendance list.

4. Everything is in Portuguese (which is to be expected ;) ).

5. It's good that there is internet to read and translate!

6. It's good that we always have a day off to sort out our thoughts.

Additionally, we are learning content here that we did not expect and we are curious to see what else awaits us in the coming weeks. First of all, we have to do our homework: read Karl Marx's 'Das Kapital'. It's exciting that in the evening we get to enjoy a sunset like this to relax. If you let your imagination run wild, you could think that a giant bird is flying into the sunset ..
