Auf Wiedersehen New York

Brooklyn Bridge. That's the last mandatory destination we kept for our last day in NYC. But before heading downtown, we had to do the online check-in and make the first preparations for our onward journey. Afterwards, we started with a long, leisurely walk through Prospect Park (Brooklyn) with a final run across the famous Brooklyn Bridge towards Manhattan.

Before we finally started packing, we made a short detour to the FDNY Firezone, a small shop for the public relations of the New York Fire Department.

That was unfortunately already the last highlight of our NY stay.

It was really a very nice time here. We have seen all the important sights, got to know some nice people, and enjoyed our stay with a very very nice hostess.

But now we are also looking forward to spending less time in endless queues and enjoying the beach and the sun in Miami South Beach, which unfortunately didn't show up in NY as often as hoped.

It's nice that you all read along so diligently. We are looking forward to telling you about the other stops on our USA trip as well. :)
