Just a quick stop to refuel during the day and have tapas on the eve of vacation. Sounds like a relaxing plan until a little yellow warning symbol lights up on the dashboard.

Hope diminishes as stress increases. The brake pads are worn out - damn! Now the phone is ringing off the hook, contacting all our contacts, calling all the workshops, and querying parts dealers.

Parts purchased and at 7 PM heading to Zogel & Zogel. Markus changed the brakes for us, thus saving our vacation and the planned start on Thursday evening!

In the evening, we drove up to just in front of Irschenberg and celebrated a bit for Tom's birthday.
