Venice Beach - Jim?

I arrived in L.A. around noon. What a drive...

The last 30 minutes were the craziest driving minutes of my life...

The traffic flows 6 to 8 lanes wide (I counted) in this huge city. Thanks to Google Maps, I found my hotel (which is very nice!) quite well.

Although it's a bit cooler than expected, shorts are a must, of course.

I immediately walked to the beach near Venice Beach. It's beautiful even with overcast skies.

Soak up the atmosphere of Venice and maybe even meet Jim Morrison somewhere. His spirit must somehow be around here. Break on through...

Then I walked all the way to the Santa Monica Pier. Food truck with triple cheeseburger😋 and watching the gradually illuminating skyline from the beach at dusk. Unique.☺
