I am currently in the capital of New Zealand in Wellington, I drove from Hastings along the Wine Route towards Wellington. But before that, I turned off to Cape Palliser and saw the Putangirua Pinnacles, which was a nice short hike. Here in Wellington, I am currently working in construction. It is an old school with a chapel from 1905 and we have to dismantle the doors, windows, and wooden moldings because the wood here is very valuable/expensive and sold.
On Friday, I visited the Munich Food Hall & Beer House, it was nice to drink a Bavarian beer again :)
On Saturday and Sunday, I visited the city and the museums and walked up to Mt. Victoria for the lookout. From here, you have a beautiful view of the city, harbor, and on the other side, the airport. They have very steep streets or many hills here.
I visited the Weta Cave and took a short tour, it was very interesting :). They produce film props such as helmets, swords, etc. for The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and many other movies. It's best to google it (The Weta Cave).
The weather is partly very windy but otherwise pleasant 15° 😁
