Day 6 - 30.05.2019 - Goodbye South Tyrol

Today we had to say goodbye - just when it became sunny and beautiful with a perfect view of the South Tyrolean mountains. The children also found it difficult to say goodbye to the hotel. But just like the reception, the farewell was personal and we will definitely come back here... To enjoy more of the landscape, we decided to explore the 'Squirrel Path' or 'Nature and Adventure Trail' in Marling before continuing our journey. It was on the way anyway. We parked at the train station and the climb to the start of the trail was difficult and exhausting. The trail itself was covered in a short time - many interactive stations for the children, such as balancing, sliding, swinging, but also information about tracks, garbage, and trees. We tempted Juliane with an ice cream to get her to walk - she had been whining again. Afterwards, we had the promised ice cream at the Waldschenke before heading to Milan...a complete contrast to the idyllic South Tyrol - a noisy city, a lot of hustle and bustle...let's see how the sightseeing will be tomorrow.
