Day 5 - Trip to 'Platzerhof' in Taisten

Today the children surprisingly slept for a long time - until 7:30 am. Now that we were supposed to leave, the sun came out again, of course. But it didn't help - we packed all the suitcases back into the car and off we went. Due to traffic reports, we first took the country road and then went on the highway, first to Austria and then to Italy, passing through various toll booths ;-) The landscape during the drive was great - with mountains in the background and occasionally castles to see. We found the 'Platzerhof' in Taisten without any problems, but couldn't find the doorbell :-o So we called the contact number and asked where we should ring - embarrassing :-o But the woman at the reception was very nice and she said that most people can't find the doorbell... Our apartment is called 'Herrnstein' and it's great. Everything is made of wood, two bedrooms with their own private bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and two large balconies accessible from two rooms each. In the garden, there is a lot for the children to play with: a wooden playhouse with a slide, a sandpit, a separate slide, a small and a large trampoline. Jette wanted to play in the garden first thing. So we made coffee and went to the garden with coffee and cake, where Jette tried out everything. Juliane also wanted to join in and spilled the wheelbarrow filled with rainwater on herself... and of course on her clothes... so she had to change ;-) But the weather wasn't so good to us again, because it started to rain and the walk through the village had to be canceled. After a little shopping at the store around the corner, this time we cooked pasta for dinner and Martin finally enjoyed the now chilled beer from Tegernsee :-)
