The Suitcase Problem

Unlike us here in Germany, Finland has clearly defined seasons. This means I will arrive there in the summer. After about 1.5 months, it will get a little wetter and more uncomfortable in the autumn. Finally, I will experience the dark and cold side of the Land of a Thousand Lakes.
Three seasons require three different types of clothing. Additionally, my plan is to be physically active there, which makes the fourth type of clothing unavoidable. 
In addition to clothing, there are also other things that I need to live there. 

In total, the 23 kg luggage weight and 8 kg carry-on baggage required by Lufthansa are not achievable. To avoid the excessive baggage fees, we have come up with the following solution:

We will simply have a package sent to Lappeenranta. Up to 10 kg costs only €22.99. Although it takes a week, it greatly simplifies the planning process. We won't need the winter clothes in the summer (hopefully), and most of the sports clothing can be left outside the suitcase for now.
Additionally, any forgotten items can easily be obtained. 

With this solution, everything is now prepared and underway.
