Valladolid

On the first day, we visited the most famous and most visited ruins in Mexico.

In order to beat the tourist crowds, we had to wake up at 6am, and by 8am (opening time), the line was already long. But waking up early was worth it, we could enjoy the ruins without people in front of them and take amazing photos. With a guided tour, we learned a lot about the Mayan culture.

After the ruins and some delicious tacos, we went to the cenote located in the city.

It was not crowded at all and we could jump into the cool water from a height of about 8m.

We ended the evening with wine and went to bed early.

This morning, we visited two more cenotes, which were nice, but not as spectacular as yesterday's. And in a few hours, everyone will go their separate ways, I will go back to Cancun to finally get my forgotten things back.
