San Francisco - Mornings at the Harbor

After holding my Alcatraz ticket, I first strolled along the harbor.

My tour to the prison island didn't start until 3:20 pm, so I had plenty of time to stroll, have a leisurely breakfast, and take the first round with the sightseeing bus.

First, I passed by Fisherman's Wharf. It's very quiet here in the morning. I took the picture in the afternoon. It's bustling by then.

But at 9 am you can already get lobster, shrimp, crabs, and whatever else the bay has to offer.

We continued along the harbor. Along the way, of course, there were always views of Alcatraz.

At Pier 39...

...I had a sandwich and a coffee for breakfast.
