Day 4: Perth - Big Shopping

We sleep well and long again. Neither we nor the kids struggle with the time change. Since there were too few blankets in the camper, we drive back to the depot. Then it's off to the big shopping.

In Belmont we storm the Hofer/Aldi. First we get a snack to keep Michi and the kids happy. The 4 of them explore the shopping center while I fill up the shopping cart. We get almost everything we need for the basic supply of food and toiletries. The cashier said it was the longest bill he ever had. At the bottle store we get beer and wine, and at Coles (better selection, but also a lot more expensive) the rest. There we also get our beloved kangaroo steaks.

At 4 p.m. we start looking for a campsite. We choose the north of Perth because we want to go to the Swedish furniture giant tomorrow. We check in at the Karrinyup Water Resort. The kids explore the playground and we grill kangaroo.

The first night in the motorhome is exciting and it takes a while for everyone to fall asleep.

Accommodation: Karrinyup Water Resort in Perth (1 night 48 AUD, beautiful green facility with plenty of entertainment for the kids, the highlight was the heated pool as the temperatures were rather frosty, many water birds)
