Maceió - Alagoas

On Saturday, February 9th, around 5:00 PM, I took the bus back to Salvador. Suddenly, I was back in civilization. I then transferred to a night bus to Maceio. Despite wearing long pants, a fleece jacket, and a woolen blanket, I was terribly cold throughout the night due to the air conditioning. Finally, at around 7:00 AM, I arrived. Fortunately, I was able to go straight to the room, so I could get some more sleep. Anne arrived around 1:00 PM. After freshening up a bit, we went to a Churrascaria because we were both incredibly hungry. We ended the evening with Caipirinhas.

The next day, we took an Uber to Praia do Frances. There, we rented two beach chairs with an umbrella for a whole day for €5.

We found a small restaurant with a view of the sea, where we ordered a shrimp pasta dish for two. From then on, we mainly ate shrimp for the entire two weeks.
