Hiking through the Rose Garden in South Tyrol // Day 1 // Ascent to the Grasleitenhütte

In the evening, we board the Austrian night train in Cologne and zoom from Cologne to Innsbruck - a little cramped and narrow, but somehow a very special and funny experience ;-). From Innsbruck, we quickly continue to Bolzano, and from there we take the bus (left turn, right turn, up, down, puke...) to the starting point of the hike. Long journey. But then it starts! Over 1,000 meters in altitude to the Grasleitenhütte. Should we have really carried the Prosecco? But no matter, we just have to toast to such beautiful hiking experiences! The path is tough, very tough, but the first Radler (beer mix) at the Grasleitenhütte is a real dream. Just like the delicious multi-course dinner. And spending the night in the rustic dormitory while a thunderstorm rages outside. Start of the South Tyrolean hut tour: More than successful!
