The 1st entry - the excitement is rising

Dear family, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, etc....

This blog will take you on our adventure trip with the camper van across Scandinavia. As we only have 2 weeks available (due to employers, school obligations, bank account, endurance, etc. - thank you very much ;-) )

... we unfortunately won't make it to the North Cape as originally planned/wished. Finland is also out of the question, so we kindly ask you not to inquire about trips to this country :-)

Currently, the plan is to pick up the camper van on Friday 02.08.2019, pack it, explore... then get on board on Saturday and reach the ferry in Rostock until 11 pm, cross over to Trelleborg/Sweden and from there... from there the unplanned journey begins!

However, we have planned a lot, VERY much! The route..., what food and drinks to take, what technical equipment..., do you need more than an axe, which grill is suitable (charcoal, electric, gas)...

I can tell you, with every month, every week, every day, the priorities decreased! So don't be surprised if we are wearing the same clothes on Day 6 of our blog as on Day 2... Travel sized products take up less space and weight than 20 t-shirts!

You will find out about the considerations we had during the planning phase, whether they were sensible or not... in the course of the blog.

So it's best to save the link in your bookmarks (if necessary, it will also be in our Whatsapp status the whole time).

I will try to publish a new entry as often as possible in the evening to satisfy your curiosity or keep you entertained. It depends on the external circumstances whether it works every evening at 8 pm. Please give me a margin of a few hours :-p
