Wellington - Wine tasting and swimming lessons

January 12-14: We leave Cape Town and visit the stylish Stellenbosch on our way to our accommodation in Wellington. Two days of relaxation by the pool after intense sightseeing are on the agenda. And wine tasting at the vineyards around us. Upon arrival in Wellington, we are greeted by two large Bernese Mountain Dogs and our children immediately fall in love with their new friends. In the end, it turns out that there are four dogs living there and our kids can't stop dog sitting. Who needs lions now....

Our four-year-old is thrilled with the pool and decides to learn how to swim. We were skeptical at first, but our son proves us wrong. In a short time, he manages to swim across the pool without floaties and we are just proud. Secretly, we had hoped that Ma would learn to swim during the trip, but never expected that we could tick it off at the beginning of the journey. Super Ma. Well done!
