Hi,
After 2 amazing days in Huangshan, I'm back in my mini bed on the train, sleeping surprisingly well here ๐ But I'm also exhausted today ๐
As you can see in the pictures, the scenery was simply overwhelming. I couldn't decide which pictures to choose.
We set off from Suzhou with a group of five and thanks to the night train, we arrived at the starting point quite early, which was a good decision as the Chinese people multiplied rapidly later. We decided to hike up instead of taking the cable car. It was beautiful, but very exhausting as there are no regular hiking trails in China, only stairs. I don't know how many there were, but there were many ๐ The temperatures were over 30 degrees in the valley and slightly below 30 degrees at the top. Yes, it was a bit warm or rather hot ๐ Once we reached the top, we took a break and then hiked to a viewpoint for the sunset. Fortunately, we were early and had a fantastic view, although it was a bit cloudy. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful spectacle. Just like the sunrise at 5 o'clock in the morning... Way too early, as we had to hike to the viewpoint first, but it was worth it. A truly magnificent sunrise ๐ And since we woke up so early, we could enjoy our tour in the 'canyon' without too many tour groups and people. On the way back from the canyon to the hostel, we encountered so many people, it was worse than at a fair. We were glad that we had already walked the round in the morning. Fortunately, we found a super deserted path for the descent to climb down the almost 1000 meters in height.
Greetings Lena
