Travel to Mars: Yehliu Geopark

The trip to Yehliu Geopark was organized by the university. After a quick breakfast, we started our journey to Taipei at 8:00 am by coach. The Yehliu Geopark is located in the north, even further north than the capital Taipei.

We didn't let the bad weather ruin our mood. The park offered impressive rock formations. The most famous rock is called the 'Queenshead', which in my opinion can only be recognized with a lot of imagination;) Some parts of the park resemble pictures from Mars.
