Yes, there are waterfalls again!
Usually this tour starts and ends from the Yosemite Valley.
I follow the advice of a park ranger and hike down from the top and take the bus back.
It starts with a hike through the forest. Above the waterfalls, there are small swimming pools. I would love to jump in as well, but I don't want to jeopardize my schedule.
The descent is steep and strenuous, the trail is crowded.
Once I reach the bottom, I have network coverage and finally book my next accommodation (after days without network).
During the bus ride, there are great views and interesting conversations with the bus driver and Americans.
I decide to leave the national park in the evening to make progress.
While dismantling my tent, I get into a conversation with the new neighbors - a children's camp.
I give them the camping utensils that the very nice people from Colorado my age left for me the night before (dishes, camping chairs, lighters). They are thrilled.
I drive along Highway 395 to Bishop, a great scenic route with mountain views.
