26/03/19 - Around Esperance

Today we took the whole day to explore Esperance and its surroundings. We did the Great Ocean Drive... It was a big loop that we could drive and there were many opportunities to stop and take pictures of the beautiful beaches.🙂 We stopped at '11 Mile Beach', 'Ten Mile Lagoon', 'Twilight Beach' and countless other lookouts. After lunch at Twilight Beach, we continued driving to 'Le Grand' National Park where the highlight of the day awaited us.... 'Lucky Bay'😊 We drove for a long time through a barren national park with many rocks and suddenly the sea opened up in front of us! A beautiful beach! And there were also wild kangaroos on the beach! A true little paradise! 😍

We would have liked to use the campground in the national park because it was right by Lucky Bay and there were also some hiking trails in the park... But everything was full. So we went back to the camp from the previous day. We already liked it there anyway and we even got a discount for the second night 👍😜
