23/09 - Progress: a day at the beach

After all the travels, outings, and parties, it was finally time for the first exams at the university. (Here in Mexico, we take the first partial exams after the first half of the semester, the second partial exams during the second half, and finally the final exams of the semester.)

A few hours at the beach in Progreso seemed perfect for a short break from studying.

So we took a girls' trip to the beach, with everything that entails: soaking up the sun, cooling off in the sea, dozing in the sun, chatting, making plans for our next trips, having fresh fish for lunch...

... digesting, soaking up the sun, cooling off in the sea, dozing in the sun, chatting, making plans for our next trips... and oops, suddenly the sun was already setting.

Those few hours at the beach turned into a beach day. But oh well, we'll try studying again the next day.
