Zahara de los Atunes 2020

Publikováno: 24.01.2020

After enjoying the new year together in Cadiz and Melek and Ana taking the bus to Madrid in the evening, I stayed there for 2 more days before I continued, once again on my own, to Zahara De Los Atunes.

With stops in every town along the way, it took me not 30 - 40 minutes to arrive; which is how long it takes by car; but oh well. This small town on the Atlantic, hardly visited by tourists at this time, was just right. After a friend told me about Bolonia, which was a bit expensive and a few more kilometers away, I chose this beautiful place. As the bus takes its final kilometers to the destination side by side with the beach and the sea, my heart soars.

The Atlantic rests brightly and kindly, the sun shining on the coast of this enchanting side of Spain and smiles. It immediately puts a smile on my face too. Instantly, I feel everything expanding within me and my joy and gratitude for being here intensifies. Vastness as far as the eye can see and peace.

The bus enters the town, stops at a bus stop, and finally I get to bask in the sun.

I drive to the apartment I rented here with a car. It is a bit far, which I had not realized until now, but it is also just 2.00 meters away from the beach.

However, for now, I sit on a bench and enjoy being here and breathe in freedom and light.
