104th Day: Sarria - Ventas de Narón

Publikováno: 13.07.2019

If they both want to, I will complete the long journey.

It is Friday, on Monday I will be in Santiago. There are still pilgrims starting from Sarria who want to pilgrimage the 100 km. But you don't really notice the density of pilgrims on the way.

My children have arrived safely in the Algarve and are waiting for a sign from me to pick them up. And the 100 km are waiting, we will start leisurely at 7 o'clock.

Only 100 km left, how proud I was when I stood on the bridge at Condom at km 1000 and knew that I would make it.

In the morning it is still hazy, but it's wonderful to walk.

I have an impressive encounter: the path is mastered despite physical discomfort: the pilgrim goes down the slope backwards, the feet or knees do not allow for anything else!

Here in Galicia you can find these typical storage houses for drying the harvest everywhere.

The romanesque church of Santa Maria was transferred from its former location to here stone by stone.

Petra finally says goodbye to us, Ullrich from near Frankfurt and Hanna from Sweden will now accompany Lukas and me on the way to Santiago.

In the evening, after 2920 kilometers walked, there are still 81 to Santiago de Compostela, another 2 nights in other hostels.

Es kommt niemals ein Pilger nach Hause, ohne ein Vorurteil weniger und eine neue Idee mehr zu haben. Möge Dein Weg weitergehen mit neuen Ideen, neuer Kraft und Energie.
