Coffee table book in real-time - Eye candy

After visiting Michael Jordan's Steakhouse in expensive Chicago and leaving very satisfied, it was time to head to the train station.

The timetable for the 'California Zephyr' is simple. Always travel west. Through the Rockstroh Mountains and the Sierra Nevada. Travel time is 2 days and 4 hours.

This time, the train conductor is named Dennis.

The journey is indescribably beautiful. Well, on the first day there is only prairie, but it also gets dark early. The Rockies only come the next day.

But not only that... The train also passes through 3 canyons.

The scenery is always impressively new. Can only be described through pictures.

It really feels like flipping through a coffee table book.

It's truly amazing. Just last week, I was lying on the beach and today, the ski lifts of the winter sports resorts are passing above me. Picturesque postcard motifs pass one after another. Not a cloud during the entire journey.

And the food on board is also good.

I must admit, you wake up quite early on the train, but the sunrise over the first foothills of the Sierra Nevada is gigantic. It's as if someone used all imaginable colors from purple to red to blue and everything in between.

The last two hours on the train feel a bit long, but it was definitely worth it.

I arrive in San Francisco on time. Time difference is another 2 hours since Chicago.

The size of this country is crazy. My dear man, it's huge.
