Auckland -Tauranga Tag 12-19

It has been a very eventful week, I wanted to write earlier but didn't have the time or motivation to do so :D.

On Monday morning, I visited the city from up high, I went to the Sky Tower at 220m high. After that, I visited the animals at the zoo, especially the Kiwi bird, a very rare bird that cannot fly. On Tuesday, I bought a car/camper, which I had already inspected on Monday afternoon. Registering the car cost about $9 and you do it at the post office, 2 forms, 10 minutes. Then it became my car 😁. From Tuesday to Wednesday, I stayed overnight outside of Auckland right by the sea in the car. Then I drove further to Themes, where I realized that my phone battery is broken :/ but here you can buy phones for $39...better than nothing 😅.

On Friday, I drove back to Whitianga, I still had shoes etc. at my host family's house and met up with people from the language course for a few beers. Early on Saturday, I went to Hot Water Beach to catch the low tide times when you can dig holes to lie in, like a whirlpool but without the bubbles.

Today on Sunday, I drove to Tauranga because I will probably start working there next week, picking kiwis.
