From Kathmandu to Pokhara

We woke up early so that we could catch our bus at 7:30 am. It left on time and for the next 8 hours, we were shaken around. The highway was heavily congested and in poor condition, but after some breaks and lunch at the upscale riverside Lodge, we arrived in Pokhara safely, where our driver was already waiting for us. Then we went up another 800 meters to our accommodation in the mountains. We were somewhat disappointed as the clouds didn't allow us to see the mountains. After dinner, our host told us about his work as a Sherpa. It was extremely exciting to talk to someone who has been on several 8000-meter peaks. He recommended that we wake up before 6 am to enjoy the unique panorama. We should not be disappointed.....
