Day 54: Hamelin Bay - Augusta - Cape Leeuwin - Prevelly

Publikováno: 04.11.2018

Samuel sleeps well and is somewhat better in the morning. Michi is also feeling better. We have breakfast outside for the first time in a long time. Finally, there are no flies and the sun is shining. The kids are digging in the sand at the campsite and we will wash our clothes again later or take a shower.

In the afternoon, we go to the beach again. Unfortunately, there are no stingrays today either. Since the sun is behind the clouds and the wind is blowing strongly, it is anything but comfortable and we decide to leave.

Our tour takes us to Augusta. We just pass through here and continue to Cape Leeuwin. We drive to the beach to see the historic water wheel. There, we cook pasta with shrimp. It has started to rain, so we only look at the lighthouse from a distance. Only Michi briefly explores the coast.

After our siesta, we continue north (nice drive). We decide to stay in Prevelly. Before we check in at the campsite, we make a detour to Surfer's Point. But it seems that even they don't like the weather.

Samuel is feeling worse again and wants to go to bed. We also stay in the camper and cook (asparagus risotto with barramundi) or make phone calls to Austria - where the weather is no colder than here.
