Day 2 Lorch-Bornich

This morning a proper breakfast with a free packed lunch. Grandma was good to me. The start was at 7:50 and that was good. I went up right away. Sometimes the paths were a bit tricky today, but no problem for Grandma. Normally, today's stage should have ended in Kaub. I reached it at 12:00, too early to stay. I kept walking until Doerscheid, which was at 14:00. Then I saw the sign Bornich 9km. Alright, I can do that. I arrived in Bornich at 17:00 and found out that there is only one place to stay. And it only opens again at 18:00. I sit in front of the door and hope. Luckily it was worth it. I got a little room. Honestly, searching for accommodation is annoying. I prefer camping. Today I went through three nature reserves, all of which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Again and again magnificent views of the Rhine. It's nice to see everything from above. There's too much traffic and tourism down there. Today I crossed the border in the middle of the forest from Hessen to Rheinland-Pfalz.
