Day 10: Harvest Caye

On the ship, we always receive the program for the following day on the evening before. It said that we should set our clocks an hour ahead in the evening. Since we did that right away, we were almost the first ones at breakfast this morning. Because the time change is only tonight. In the meantime, the ship had anchored off the coast of Belize at a small island. It was planted with mangroves and palm trees a few years ago, and infrastructure was built for the guests of the cruise ships. This is a private island of the Norwegian cruise line. We spent the day here and made sure not to burn too many calories. The biggest problem was only occupying about 2000 empty beach chairs. After 4 pm, we relaxed on deck 15 with a glass of Prosecco and whiskey, watching the sunset. Tonight, Sabrina reserved seats for one of the shows offered. Burn the Floor was absolutely amazing. The dancers and singers were able to professionally portray the theme of "Cuba" and convey it to us, the audience. Since the sea air was very tiring, I had to skip the Latin Party on the outdoor deck afterwards. The bed seemed more appealing to me.
