Day 3

Getting up early and having breakfast secures a spot in the sun and, above all, a relaxed drive to the Old Camp.

Okay, I forgot the 'mountain classification'. Eight girls and seven boys managed not to get off their bikes. We passed colorful summer meadows, fields ready for harvest, and 'Albrechts Shelter' outpost.

Our destination was the go-kart track. An outdoor track with 1280 meters and a kart with 9 horsepower under our seat...

It's amazing how quickly even the 'never-before-go-kart drivers' got used to the hot oven. Okay, some chose the path with a spin on the track, others temporarily parked on the safety tires, others tried to wait on the grass, but it didn't work, and some confused the gas and brake pedals when parking. Oops... the fence and the tire barrier fell.

It was an exciting race. After 2x 15 minutes in each group, the winners were determined. Boys: 1st Erwin, 2nd Till, 3rd Friedemann, and for the girls: 1st Frida, 2nd Rasen, 3rd Lilou.

We used the lunch break for another challenge.

On the way back, the girls collected diligently for the competition of who can bring the most beautiful bouquet. I'm really excited!

But for now, we're sitting in the outdoor pool, swimming, playing volleyball, or enjoying the remaining sun and waiting for the pizza delivery at 7.00 pm.
