Off to the beach to watch planes!

After getting some rest, we rented a scooter for the next three days. First destination today: the national park in Phuket. However, we weren't as excited when we arrived there, so we decided to continue to a special beach that is famous from TV. People are drawn here not because of the tranquility, but rather because of the noise.
This beach is located right behind the airport. That means the planes come pretty close when you're lying on the beach. And when a larger plane takes off, it really stirs up the sand. So it's not necessarily the most relaxing beach, but definitely worth visiting!
Afterward, we went to the old town of Phuket. We had something to drink in a cafe until the rain stopped. Back at the hotel, we headed out for dinner.
