21|09|18 Opening a bank account...

Hello guys,

we got up early again today, as we had an appointment at the ANZ Bank at 10:00 am.

We took an Uber to the bank branch, which was a little outside the city center. We could only get an appointment here at short notice, as all the banks in the city center were fully booked until the end of next week due to the large number of "Work & Travellers".

However, opening the bank account went smoothly! Now we are able to apply for our "ID Number" (equivalent to the social security number in Germany) and start working with it!

Today, after careful consideration, we also decided on a camping van! More details will be available on Monday and Tuesday when we pick up the van from the dealer!😊

Other than that, we just enjoyed the weather here in Auckland, which was around 17-18 degrees Celsius, feeling like early summer.

For dinner today, we went back to "Velvet Burgers", which had a special offer where we could choose 2 burgers from the menu. Since it was a fixed price and we were quite hungry, we took full advantage of the offer and ordered the 2 largest burgers on the menu.

Now we are lying in the hostel bed, feeling like we will never be able to move again due to the food coma!😂

Tomorrow, we will go to "Rangitoto Island", an island just off Auckland, where we will do a one-day hiking tour!
