Sve ima svoj kraj...

...and so does our awesome journey. We traveled from Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia to Australia and from there via the South Pacific islands to South America. We have had the opportunity to meet amazing people, admire breathtaking landscapes, observe exotic animals, and spend a lot of time in, on, or near water. From white sandy beaches to the barren heights of the Andes, from the Outback to the Inca Trail, from colonial architecture in modern cities to the Amazon rainforest and Borneo - we have enjoyed many places and have many tips for great places to visit.

However, we cannot answer the most common question about THE highlight of the entire 11 months. There is simply too much that we have experienced to pick just one thing. We have come to appreciate the diversity of nature, wildlife, and people with their different cultures, and we are happy to have had so many different and wonderful experiences.

But for now, our journey as world explorers is over - we are back home. On May 2nd, we landed in Zurich and were welcomed by our families. The first weekend is over, we have enjoyed Swiss food, shared stories, showed photo albums, and celebrated our return with friends. There were some surprised faces, as we did not announce our return.

It was fun and of course we are a little sad that day 342 of the journey was the end, but also excited for everything that awaits us at home.
