Day 10 in Guatape. It's lively and bustling everywhere 😅

Sitting by the lake under tall bamboo trees, enjoying the tranquility. It's truly a precious commodity here. Colombians love it loud, they like to sing along, and they don't mind playing multiple songs at once. We believe that if they don't hear music, they may think they're close to death. 😄

This morning, we walked to the rock on foot. Lots and lots of people from the entrance to the stairs leading up. It's vacation time, clearly noticeable. I was actually looking forward to the cardio training going up, but no chance. Everything was in slow motion. Once we reached the top, we enjoyed the view.

After that, we wanted to hike all the way to Guatape, but it would have been too far, with several bodies of water in between. We took a public bus for the short distance. We treated ourselves to a vegan lunch, strolled through the city, tried a cheesecake, and then took the Tuc Tuc back to our accommodation.

We're staying here now, because after all, we also want to enjoy the beautiful accommodation a bit.
