The popular destination Vietnam is the largest country in Indochina. With an approximately 3,500 kilometer coastline, the country extends in an S-shape from north to south. It borders China to the north, Laos to the northwest, and Cambodia to the southwest. The fascinating country in Southeast Asia impresses with its diversity. A mix of 54 ethnic minorities ensures cultural diversity. Whether high mountains, vast plains of river deltas, picturesque beaches, UNESCO World Heritage sites, or modern cities - the versatility of Vietnam's destinations is unique and breathtaking! Due to its different climate zones, Vietnam is also wonderfully suited for a holiday all year round.

The North

Northern Vietnam is unique in terms of landscape and culture, and many of Vietnam's famous attractions can be found here. In the mountains of the north, you can admire the world-famous rice terraces of Sapa, get to know ethnic minorities in their traditional villages, or climb Fansipan, the highest mountain in the country. Explore the streets and attractions of the capital Hanoi. You should also not miss a cruise in the world-famous Halong Bay, perhaps the most famous destination in Vietnam. But there are also lesser-known destinations to discover, such as Ninh Binh, Mai Chau, or Ba Be, which are not yet visited by so many tourists and therefore provide a particularly fascinating and authentic experience of the country's nature and culture.

The Central

Central Vietnam is famous for its UNESCO World Heritage sites. With the Old Town of Hoi An, the oldest Hindu temples in Southeast Asia in My Son, and the Imperial Citadel of Hue, there are three important historical sites that will enchant you. Especially in the evening, the lantern-decorated Old Town of Hoi An is magical! Relax on the picturesque beaches of Da Nang, Quy Nhon, or Nha Trang, and embark on an adventure in the caves of Phong Nha - Ke Bang. Here you will find the recently discovered largest cave in the world, called Son Doong. In the Central Highlands around Da Lat, you can discover unique cultures of ethnic minorities and, above all, explore vegetable and coffee cultivation in Vietnam.

The South

In southern Vietnam lies the economic engine of Vietnam: Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. It is the largest city in the country and at the same time the business center. Discover the modern metropolis and the old quarters with the colonial buildings of the French, or explore the markets in the Chinese district of Cho Lon. In the Cu Chi tunnels outside Saigon, you can experience up close how the Vietcong warriors lived underground for years. Go to the Mekong Delta and discover life in the villages of Vietnam's most important rice farming area. Or simply relax from an eventful journey on the picturesque beaches of Mui Ne and Vung Tau or on the islands of Phu Quoc and Con Dao. The destination Vietnam has something for everyone!
