15.03.2023 husky project

Its getting a lot brighter here, the sun is shining early in the morning until the late evening. But it always stays very low so it seems to be sunrise/sundown for the entire day.

We had a calm day, since it was just the volunteers and no guests, there was no need to prepare the dogs or cook anything fancy.

I got lucky because I had dogs with phil, we could just stay outside all day and didn't have to clean or prepare the guest house.

The dogs didn't get to run, so they got a lot of energy left and were rather wild during playtime.

After that we spent some time on our favorite hobby. Ice hacking!

The 2 new volunteers, neele and matilde arrived around lunch. They got a first tour of the area and even went on their first puppy walk. They got the easier dogs but because of the snowfall and having of course 0 experience with the doggies it was still a challenge.

The new guests arrived around 22:00 and they seemed quite friendly so far.

I think we have a good week ahead of us.
