Road trip ЁЯЪЧ

After our bungee, we spent another beautiful day in Queenstown, including a really tasty burger from Fergburger, which is famous in New Zealand. Then we headed towards Milford Sound where we had booked a boat tour. The tour was really nice even though the weather was cloudy. Our boat even went right under a waterfall and we saw a penguin. Our journey then continued to Slope Point, which is the southernmost point of the South Island. Since the weather there wasn't particularly good either, we drove straight to Dunedin and enjoyed the sunrise at Nugget Point. We spent the morning at Sandfly Beach and kept an eye out for penguins, but unfortunately we only saw a few seals. The next morning, we went to the farmers market, then to Baldwin Street (the steepest street in the world), to the Moeraki Boulders (giant stones on the beach), and then we continued on to try our luck with penguins again, and we actually saw three. We spent the night at Lake Tekapo, which is a Dark Sky Reserve. The starry sky there was simply incredible, as everything was very clear and the number of stars was very high. The next day, a hike to Mount Cook, the highest mountain in New Zealand, was on the agenda before we headed back to Blenheim.

Since the day before yesterday, we have been back in Blenheim and of course there was a welcome back party. The weather is fine too, and in the next few days we'll be looking for a job.
