From the big city to the countryside in the small town of Kampot.

In the morning, still in Phnom Penh, when I was looking for the bus. A woman carrying grapes on her head.

And the landscape towards Kampot.

With cows.

And a huge durian.

When I arrived in Kampot, I really wanted to meet new people again. Before that, I was constantly alone, as I had actually planned to travel with Benedikt. But here in the hostel I met Marina from Canada. I walked through the city with her.

And at the river in Kampot.

This fruit is called mangosteen.

Its flesh looks like garlic cloves. But it tastes super sweet and fruity! I can only recommend it.

And this fruit is called rambutan.

It looks like lychee from the inside, but tastes much better.

Dinner at the hostel restaurant. We also had beer and lots of rounds of UNO afterwards. I was so motivated that evening and spoke to many people to join us for UNO. I was completely open and could talk to anyone. I was how I want to be in general.

And suddenly the power went out for a while. Out of nowhere, I was sitting with Marina at a romantic candlelight dinner. After five minutes, the light came back on.
