Direction Salt Lake City

We spent the night in Price, a shabby place, I have no idea what brings someone here. Probably the carbon mining. Terrible, but also interesting. Especially the incredibly long freight trains with a whopping 100 wagons and a total of 7 locomotives. It was fascinating to see this 2km long train winding through the landscape! The train driver even honked for us :-) it sounded like the Wild West!

We were getting closer to Salt Lake City. However, there seem to be countless suburbs, so we drove through an endless succession of towns, one after the other, without a visible beginning or end. A little bit like the Ruhr area. At least it was getting greener. Since Salt Lake City was still too far away, we made an overnight stop in one of the suburbs. We can't escape anything.... The next morning, during breakfast in a nice little park, a camera crew approached us. They were shooting a documentary about the healthcare system in the USA and interviewed people about their opinions. Unwashed and still grumpy from sleeping, we hoped that this cup would pass us by. However, they found it too exciting to meet someone from Germany and the discussion was simply too interesting. Someone had to bite the bullet... Once again, a unique experience.... And maybe a new challenge ;-) D.K. next Secretary of Health in the USA.... You never know what the future holds.
