18.01.2020 - Day 23 - Auckland, New Zealand

After our boat trip didn't work out yesterday, we were able to do the tour to 'Cathedral Cove' this morning after all. Luckily, because it was two great hours with lots of sights, each with a little story from our guide Tas. Apart from that, it was so much fun speeding along the coast with the power speedboat 😀.

After a little coffee break in Whitianga, we went on the 3-hour trip to our next accommodation near Auckland. Here again, I (wait... let me pat myself on the back for a moment 😜) found an amazing 5* B&B. We're staying in a beautiful architect-designed house with a huge suite and a view of Auckland and the sea that you can't really put a price on.

In the evening, we went to a restaurant... well, let's say a place that had a great view but was rather lacking in culinary excellence. So far, it's been the biggest disappointment in terms of food on our trip 🥴. But that's part of it... at least the drinks were cold 😂😂.
