The Queen Charlotte Track is located in the Malborough Sounds on the South Island of New Zealand.

Before our second multi-day hike started, there was a refreshment.

For this hike, a pass is required and transportation by boat to the starting point.

After everything was organized, we started.

Day 1 Ship Cove - Punga Cove

Departure from Picton Harbour.

Anchoring at the pier of Shop Cove.

From now on it's time to walk... 4 days, 71 km.Since it had rained the days before, it was still a bit muddy.

Pier at Punga Cove... Our backpacks were already waiting for us here (the luggage was transported by boat for us every day, what a luxury!)

Ach ja was soll man dazu noch sagen, als einfach nur herrlich. 👍 Traumhafte Landschaften und so viel seitig. Wart doch hoffentlich mal baden bei dem Wasserfall oder war es zu kalt?

Der Wasserfall war Mini... Da hätte man höchstens den Fuß reinstellen können.
