Tag 10 - Trip to Koh Samui

Tag 10 (16.03.2023)

Today, we had another long journey ahead. From our hotel in Ao Nang, we first took a van to the east coast and then a ferry to Koh Samui. In total, we spent 5 and a half hours on the road without any significant events. Erik enjoyed his bag of fruits during the trip, which he had put together at the market the evening before.

Upon arriving in Koh Samui, we went to a small bungalow (Baan Wasana) right by the sea. Once again, we used Grab for transportation. This time, however, we didn't order a car but two scooters, which took us and our luggage through the busy streets.

Our little accommodation was very clean and beautifully located. We spent the evening relaxing on the beautiful beach. We sunbathed, Erik took photos with his camera during the sunset, and later we went to a small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. It was a dream come true! Except for the mosquitoes. Before we could grab the mosquito spray, they attacked us quickly. Other than that, it was a really lovely evening.
