Here you have two options, either an amusement park with rides or the actual safari tour. We started comfortably at half past 9 in the park. Almost deserted, we and especially the children were able to ride a lot without queuing. Jeep tour, carousel, giant slide, bumper cars. Perfect! Mama even dared to go on a roller coaster. But then she realized that it wasn't a good idea. She survived the ride screaming with her eyes closed.
After a train ride and grabbing something to eat, we started the safari tour. We in our own car, the Sonntag family in a bus. Imagine the whole thing like a mega traffic jam where you occasionally see a few animals. From the back rows there was only complaining or falling asleep out of boredom. It only got interesting again with the predators. That woke up the kids too. Philip was allowed to drive on Papa's lap. Then we passed by roads and rhinos that came dangerously close to Papa's beloved car. No liability by the park, so tough luck for us.
Overall, it's a shame that so many people simply don't follow the rules. Driving on the bus lane on the right, not closing windows, and feeding animals. I wouldn't have been surprised if even a crazy person with a selfie stick had jumped out in the lion enclosure. Hundreds of smelly cars don't have to be passed through there every day. The park could solve that sustainably in a different way.
