When travel plans are thrown into disarray

The alarm clock rang relentlessly at 3:30 a.m., promising an exciting day. Our destination: Dublin, the vibrant capital of Ireland. Our trip got off to a promising start with a scheduled flight. But when we arrived in Dublin we were greeted by a bit of chaos.
Our tour operator had obviously forgotten to organize the transfer bus. This meant we suddenly found ourselves in the Irish capital with no transport. But as adventures go, we decided to make the best of the situation.
We had a whole day at our leisure in Dublin. We strolled through the charming streets, explored historical sights and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the locals. But despite all the freedom and flexibility, we still had one concern in the back of our minds: Where is our guide?
