Jungle Book Rewound

I'm still alive!

I mean, among all the snakes and bullet ants, there was no internet.

For many, it's a reason to survive, but for us it's a piece of cake.

We used the time to observe what happens when you throw pasta noodles into giant spider webs.

Conclusion: Spiders don't eat fusilli 😢

But seriously,

We also did useful things like cutting up fruit and distributing it to the animals, sweeping paths, cleaning enclosures, and chasing away raccoons.

We divided the tasks between the 4 of us and took turns.

But I had a beef with the squirrels after Asshole (yes, that's really his name) bit me in the head 😂

In the evenings, armed with a flashlight, we went on a discovery tour of all kinds of jungle creatures.

Yes, another world awakens there, which we also explored with Manuela.

She does guided tours there and is naturally more knowledgeable than us.

Yes, that's where I saw the first venomous snakes in the wild.

But no tarantulas 😢

The rest of the time, we sat in hammocks or at the tower where we could catch the sun's rays.

Occasionally, we also took a bath in the jungle river for cleansing.

Basically, it's really beautiful here and I will miss the sounds, but a few days are enough, and then you're happy to return.

You somehow feel confined, and the opportunity to get out of the jungle is a 1-hour walk.

But one of the valuable lessons I learned is that you can never eat enough rice and beans.

Same breakfast every day, but the first ones at the buffet every day.

And that in pouring rain.

Definitely my Pura Vida moment.
