Botanical Garden

I'm no longer organizing the travel blog chronologically, as I still need to painstakingly prepare material and information from museums for some places I've visited, such as translating from Chinese, and even the English descriptions often require me to verify them against the Chinese text. In particular, the excellent museum dedicated to Lianzhu culture offers only a few English explanations for interested visitors. So, here's my description of the visit to the Botanical Garden in Hangzhou, which should typically be in a state of slumber at this time of year and with the gloomy weather. However, there is an exhibition with numerous flower arrangements that creates a splendid display of colors in this place. The arrangement with flowers, blossoms, and petals is dedicated to various themes. Large and small sculptures are embedded in a backdrop. Even an aquarium with fish has found its way into one of the scenes. A furnace simulates fire using steam and light. The colorful spectacle attracts crowds. Someone always jumps into my frame, and I have to quickly click when I reach my subject. However, I can fully utilize my height, as most Chinese are much shorter than I am, so my arms in the air surpass the other smartphones in height. I have often depicted the subject in my photo gallery and then taken a photo of the crowd. Additionally, there are groups of students who can be identified by their various colored caps or school uniforms belonging to their respective classes. When encountering two groups of yellow caps, I fear that they might mix. In any case, a large portion of the 12 million metropolis is in the Botanical Garden today, and we are right in the middle of it.
