After the rather disappointing visit to an ancient thermal bath complex, we drive to the Nuraghendorf Santa Christina. There you can still see a complete Nuraghe. And an enclosed spring where ritual washings were performed. Very impressive when you consider when and with what means it was built.
We stay at a restaurant that also offers a pitch with fantastic views. Of course, it's crowded. The panoramic view from the parking lot is also sensational, but unfortunately hazy.
Petra Schilling, our classmate who lives in Sardinia, suggests that we go to S'Archittu. It's really beautiful there. Unfortunately, there's not even a place to stop with the motorhome for a photo.
And then we discover that one of the few open camping sites is right here. Since the weather is great today, we decide to stay for two days. Fortunately, the campsite has a parking lot. Otherwise, we wouldn't have known where to park. There are low trees everywhere with little space in between. How that's supposed to work in the summer... But the beach is great! We enjoy the sun. It rains again at night. We only stay for one night...
