The weekend was ahead and we didn't have anything special planned. With two kids of our rascals' age, there's no need to make plans anyway because either one is hungry or the other needs to nap before we go out, or both. And just like that, the day is over. So we decided to be Chinese flexible instead of making a sleeping plan that wouldn't be implemented anyways and just get frustrated.

After breakfast, little Philipp and I, being the men we are, decided to go play soccer. Specifically on the tennis court. In our compound, we have two tennis courts that we can see from our apartment. Philipp is thrilled when tennis or basketball is being played there. But since we don't have basketball rackets or tennis balls, we play soccer instead. Philipp kicks the ball from one corner to the other and then runs after it. It keeps him fit! After about an hour, we decided to call it a day and take little Jule, who had been watching us obediently, for a stroll around the compound to get to know it better. After exploring the outdoor pool and fitness center, we followed the music coming from the other side of the main road in front of our compound.

There, which we had already seen in the morning when we went to buy bread, was a children's indoor playground where they take all the money from the parents' pockets. In one of the other malls, they actually wanted 150 yuan (20 euros) for admission. We could have left Philipp indoors all day for that price, and there were no hourly rates. However, on this opening day, everything was free! Outside, amusingly next to basketball and oversized dice game, there was a corner set up with relics from the childhood era in front of the computer. Among other things, there were wind-up frogs, and behold, even today you can still entertain kids for hours without a computer!
