People have died here

Admittedly, the title screams click bait but hear me out. Dani, Tim and I went hiking on a mountain (Mt Beerwah) that is very challenging. It's more rock climbing than hiking, usually you need your hands to climb the mountain.

There have been really distinctive walls on the upper part.

Dani and Tim didn't make it to the top, so it's just me and this huge fly on the foto.

We sweated a lot this day and decided to cool down in a lake that is also in the same area.

Oh and bicycle ways and pedestrian ways are a disaster IF THEY ARE EXISTENT. Sometimes it takes sometimes more then 5 minutes to cross a single road (yes I stopped the time and am serious).

So the white cross is the street and the green arrow the way I want to cross. But there is no traffic light on that side of the road and it's a big one. 4 lanes each side.

So I have to go the way of the red arrows and have to press a button every time I want to cross it. Each button waits the full 'traffic light cycle' out. As if that is not bad enough, the blue cross is an 'island' for pedestrians where they have to press the button to cross the second half of the road and wait AGAIN a full cycle. As if pedestrians had ANY INTENTION to stay on that f*cking island. Yeah I'm seriously mad here.

But apart of that, I'm totally loving it here. Today I did some shopping for New Zealand (a matress and a warm sleeping bag) and tomorrow Oluf and me are trying to get to that island again.
